Which supermarkets does CartPilot cover?
We currently track Greens, Pavi, Pama, Savemart, and Lidl. We're adding more stores regularly. If your local supermarket is missing, get in touch and we'll look into it.
How often are prices updated?
Our scrapers run daily, usually in the early hours of the morning. The product card shows when a price was last updated so you always know how fresh the data is.
Are the prices always accurate?
We do our best, but prices can change between scraper runs and in-store promotions sometimes don't appear online. Always verify the final price at the till. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
What is the Basket Optimizer?
The Basket Optimizer takes your saved shopping list and works out the cheapest way to buy everything. It shows you the cheapest single store and a mix-and-match plan across multiple stores, so you can choose what suits your week.
What are Watchlist alerts?
You can set a target price on any product. When a supermarket drops below that price, CartPilot emails you. It's useful for tracking seasonal items or waiting for a promotion.
Is CartPilot free?
Yes, CartPilot is free during beta. We plan to introduce optional paid features in the future, but core price comparison and basket optimisation will remain free.
Does CartPilot cover online delivery?
We track in-store prices. Delivery availability and delivery-specific pricing are not currently included, though this is something we're looking at for the future.
How do I save products to my basket?
Search for any product and click "Add" on the product card. Your basket is saved automatically. Head to the Basket Optimizer to see which store wins for your whole list.
Can I use CartPilot without an account?
You can browse prices and search products without signing in. An account is needed to save a basket, set watchlist alerts, and view price history.
How do I report a wrong price or missing product?
Email us at hello@cartpilot.mt with the product name and the correct price. We review reports manually and push corrections as quickly as possible.
