About CartPilot
CartPilot started with a simple frustration: doing the weekly shop in Malta meant either guessing which supermarket was cheaper this week, or spending half an hour checking three different websites before leaving the house.
I built CartPilot to solve that. Every day the scrapers run, pull live prices from the major Maltese supermarkets, and match the same product across stores so you're always comparing like for like. Then the basket optimizer does the maths, whether you want the single cheapest store or a smart mix-and-match plan across a few stops.
It's a one-person project, built and maintained in Malta. There's no venture funding, no ad network, and no data brokering. The plan is to keep the core free and eventually charge a small amount for premium features, so the incentive is always to make the product genuinely useful, not to monetise your attention.
We're in beta, which means things will break occasionally and the product is still finding its shape. If you spot a missing product, a wrong price, or a feature that would make your weekly shop easier, drop me a line. Feedback from real shoppers is the most useful thing right now.
Thanks for trying it.
